Applying Skintegrity Hydrogel Gauze

Cleanse wound with normal saline or wound cleanser and gently dry surrounding area.

Fill wounds loosely with unfolded, saturated gauze pads

Cover wound with appropriate waterproof coverdressing, such as Stratasorb. Skintegrity hydrogel may dry out sooner if a non-waterproof dressing is used.

When to change/reapply Skintegrity Hydrogel Gauze

Dressing may be left in place up to 3 days, or as directed

If fluid leaks from the dressing, change it immediately
