Used for post-TURP hemostasis, the long length tip with three staggered eyes maximizes drainage and reduces the potential for total occlusion of the eyes by bladder tissue, clots, or post-surgical debris. Staggering allows larger eyes while maintaining column strength to avoid tip collapse on insertion. A long tip also prevents the balloon from pulling up and occluding the eyes under traction. In addition to the longer length, the tip is reinforced to accommodate a stylet for insertion.
